A series of local events honouring, celebrating and re-inserting the lives, histories, experiences and achievements of Black Queer and Trans folks in Canada/Turtle Island.

PARIS IS BURNING film screening and discussion

Description: the first feature film directed by a black lesbian. The film is about uncovering the stories and identity of a black actress from the 1930s
known for playing the stereotypical "mammy" roles relegated to black actresses during the period.
